When designing visualisations for a broad audience, such as the general public, you can’t often assume your users will have knowledge of the underlying data or the statistical analysis performed. So how do you effectivly design charts that can be understood by everyone? In this session, we’ll discuss some of the common rules and myths of data visualisation, and how they don’t always hold when designing for everyone. By the end, you’ll have a better understanding of how to visually communicate complex ideas.
