The Geometry of Urban Life
The Geometry of Urban Life is a parameterised mapping project which aims to break down the cities and towns we live in, into simple polygons and lines.
The project maps our streets, our buildings, and the contours of our land - showing the lasting relationship between the natural world and what we have created around it. By simply supplying a set of co-ordinates, maps showcasing the geometry of our urban life are brought to life.
For example, the following three maps illustrate the geometry of Manchester.
