Pokémon is a Japanese media franchise created by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures. It started with video games in 1996 and expanded into trading cards, TV shows, movies, and more. The series revolves around fictional creatures called Pokémon, which trainers catch, train, and battle. In Pokémon battles, the Pokémon with the highest speed stat acts first, and those with lower speed stats act later. Unlike real-world speed measurements, Pokémon speed is not measured in any specific unit like meters per second or miles per hour.

This stream chart shows the speed of different Pokémon (with higher speeds on nearer the right hand side), and their primary colour. Light purple Pokémon tend to have higher speeds than yellow Pokémon.
